The ministry said that since December 7, 2025, no new cases of damage to public or private property have been recorded beyond those already documented.
The ministry added Cambodia continues to monitor developments and reiterated its protest against actions by Thai armed forces that contravene the Joint Statement of the 3rd Special Meeting of the General Border Committee dated 27 December 2025.
It cited recent incidents in which containers were placed to block road access and road construction was carried out in Rouch Champey village and O Khla Khmum village in Oddar Meanchey province, as well as additional deployments in Thmor Da commune, Veal Veng district, Pursat province. The ministry said these locations are within Cambodia’s sovereign territory under international agreements.
The ministry called on ASEAN partners, the international community and the United Nations to continue supporting a peaceful resolution to the Cambodia–Thailand border dispute in accordance with international law and existing agreements.
