(1) People value CPP efforts to realize credible things and does not abandon its national and people cause

The construction of such a large party base and party building shows the confidence and determination of the Cambodian People’s Party to lead and serve the people for a long time […] The People’s Party will continue to be with and serve the people […] Firstly, the people still value truth, which is the Cambodian People’s Party’s efforts to do realize things, and secondly, even if for a hundred years to go, the Cambodian People’s Party will not abandon its cause, which is for the nation and the people. These two factors combine ensures long-term leadership […] I would like to take this opportunity to thank the people of Kampong Thom who have given their trust and support to the People’s Party for a long time, especially in the 2023 general election […] showing the people’s justice for the efforts of the Royal Government led by the Cambodian People’s Party from previous mandates. In 2023, there were many forces demanding electoral obstruction, firstly, to prevent people from voting, and secondly, to invalidate the ballots. In the end, 82.23% (of the people who had the right to vote) went to vote, rejecting the incitement […]

(2) No party can replace the People’s Party in the minds and hearts of the Cambodian people, and even foreigners

In previous terms, when the election was approaching, there was always uncertainty. After voting, people stayed home, in case something happens. But in the 2023 elections, once the election was over, they did not show sign of worriedness. Those in Phnom Penh, went to Kampong Som (to enjoy the beach) right after they cast their votes […] That confirmed the belief that the People’s Party would continue to lead, maintain peace, stability, and provide warmth to the people across the country. Whether voting for the Cambodian People’s Party or voting for other parties, people show confidence in the stability and peace of the country […] When they hear that the People’s Party had won and Samdech Techo was leading, they were feeling warm […] Social stability, peace, economic stability, and political stability are big factors. Up to this point, no party can replace the People’s Party in the minds and hearts of the Cambodian people, and even foreigners, especially the presence of the party president is a strong foundation for ensuring the stability and peace of the people […]

(3) People’s votes for the Cambodian People’s Party are not a coincidence, not a voting choice made at gunpoint, but a proper assessment and decision

That the people voted for the Cambodian People’s Party is not a coincidence, not a voting choice made at gunpoint […] but an assessment and decision. The people understood that in difficult times, there is no one but the Cambodian People’s Party (who can help). When COVID-19 attacked, no one came forward to take measures to provide medical care, find medicine/vaccines, solve economic difficulties that affected the people life […] The voters of 2023, even those who have voted for other parties, have clearly seen that Samdech Techo had been directly leading (the fight), not running away to be a patriot from abroad […] As a leader, Samdech Techo has made a distinction between drugs (vaccines) that can save people’s lives but have not been recognized by WHO, and drugs used, without complications, in China, Arabia, and Indonesia by tens of millions […] Samdech Techo decided to use the drugs we had in hands to save people’s lives. Despite the attacks on him by some politicians abroad that he was using the lives of Cambodians as an experiment, this decision saved people’s lives […] Samdech Techo, the President of the Cambodian People’s Party put people’s lives first […]

(4) Three major factors why CPP has received overwhelming people’s supports

The Cambodian People’s Party has saved the lives of the people many times. Among them, there are three major events. Firstly, the liberation from the genocidal regime of Pol Pot. Some people accuse the liberation on January 7 as the Vietnamese invasion. They may interpret it whichever way they want but let me ask two questions. In late 1978, early 1979, did Pol Pot change his policy to stop killing people? No, he did not. That means the policy of killing continues, and of not giving the people anything to eat continues. They kept implementing the same policy. So, if nothing changes, the Khmer Rouge is still leading, probably continuing the killing […] If they were not expelled, how many more millions of people would die, either by being deprived of food or by being slaughtered […]

Secondly, liberating the people from dying again through the win-win policy, ending the 500-year war, in which Khmer people killed each other […] If there were no win-win policy to end the war, with all Khmer people participating, would Kampong Thom province stop fighting? The win-win politics that ended the war saved the lives of the people, especially the soldiers on both sides, so that they could live in peace and not kill each other anymore […] and thirdly, (saving lives from) COVID-19 and freeing the people from poverty […] These three factors are why the People’s Party has received overwhelming support, not by force, but by doing the right thing and bringing real benefits to the people […]

(5) All religions and religious leaders work together to clarify religious values; Citizens, civil servants, workers, and veterans benefit from the NSSF

These three major life-saving efforts have led to the restoration of livelihoods and freedoms for all religions. We have three major religions, but lately, there appears to have Brahmanism. I would ask His Excellency Chay Borin, Minister of Cults and Religion, to conduct a clear study […] which religion does not cause confusion in society, we respect […] The Ministry of Cults and Religion must watch and monitor closely, guarantee the right to freedom of religion, but must respect (and practice) religion in appropriate manner. To protect religious values, it is the duty of the Ministry. All religions, including religious leaders, must work together so that we can work together to clarify religious values. The value of religion depends on the authenticity of the practice […]

Now that we are is the TikTok generation (and digital social media). Should it become a business in the future, it must be managed carefully, or it would become even more problem making […] However, our citizens have the right to freedom of religion, the opportunity to learn to gain knowledge and skills, and the construction of health facilities everywhere […] Most citizens, civil servants, workers, and veterans benefit from the National Social Security Fund Card and the Poverty Card for examination and treatment when sick or pregnant, free of charge, which is the policy of the Royal Government that has been declared and implemented on the ground […]

(6) We are not perfect, but we strive to make it perfect

I believe that the Cambodian People’s Party still has the trust of the people. We continue to provide work and make important achievements for the people, not only within the framework of the Royal Government, but also within the framework of the Royal Government’s working group, the People’s Party’s working group, and all local parties strive to serve the people. Members of the Party and the Party’s youth strive to do good deeds according to the party’s principles. The people will continue to have trust in us. We are not perfect, but we strive to make it perfect […]

The other day, there was a story about an elephant and an organization related to (conserving wildlife in Tamao Mountain) […] The state does not interfere (in their internal affairs), but it is related to the feelings and interests and the requests of some the people. So, the Minister (of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries has made an appointment to meet with the elephant) to discuss and find a solution […] Even that small matter, we (did not overlook it, because it is the wish of many people) […] If this is only the matter between an individual and an individual, (the state) would not need to interact […] (The Royal Government) has taken into account everything (as long as it is the concerns of the people) It is not perfect, but we strive (to do and solve) […]

(7) No matter how much country changes, CPP will not change cause of serving country and the people and will do nothing to harm national interest

(Deputy Prime Minister and Minister in Charge of the Office of the Council of Ministers) His Excellency Vongsi Vissoth clearly said that what we have achieved today is not built today or last year, but on the foundation left by the predecessors of the Cambodian People’s Party (working for the benefit of the people in Kompong Thom), together with our citizens. We will continue on this solid foundation to help the people and develop it further […] On the first instance, since 1951, the Cambodian People’s Party has changed generations of leaders, but never the cause. I believe that for hundreds of years to come, no matter how much the country would change, the Cambodian People’s Party will not change the cause of serving the country and the people […]

As of now, wherever we go, we have one Cambodia, one administration, a unified armed force, and together we protect and develop the territory […] Secondly, the Cambodian People’s Party will not do anything to harm the national interest. Good or bad, where there are gaps, we will try to bridge them. The Royal Government of the Cambodian People’s Party has never put forward a policy of destroying the country. We only have a policy of helping the country and helping the people in all sectors. For people without land, we work to give them land; children without schools, we build schools for them. People without money to go to the hospital, we prepare a policy of issuing poor cards, with which the state gives them money. We have laid out policies to conduct negotiations on territory, demarcating borders […]

(8) Constitutional amendment to revoke citizenship – if one conspires with foreign countries against Cambodian interests, then one should be worried

Lately, there are rumors outside as (we) are planning to amend the (Constitution) to revoke citizenship from any Cambodian who opposes Cambodian interests. If you are a patriot and are determined to your last breath not to act against Cambodian interests, please do not worry. But if you have a plan to conspire with a foreign country to destroy Cambodian interests, then you should be. And, if you are like that, you should not remain a Cambodian. We are fighting to defend our territory from other states/countries and some are causing national destruction. I will not talk about that.

Let the law works. Let us just do a little research. In the world, (out of) 195 countries that are members of the United Nations, 150 of them, including 18 countries in the European Union, including the UK, have laws to revoke citizenship […] So, it is not just Cambodia. This is a matter of procedure. Going forward, I will let the law work. I will not interfere, but the principle is that there will be no harm to citizens who truly love the nation. Those who do not conspire with a foreign country to seriously destroy national interests, have no reason to worry […] Building and developing a country requires consensus. Different views are normal. It’s okay to have different policies, but don’t do anything that destroys the nation, especially don’t conspire with foreigners to do that […]

(9) Economic master plan for Kompong Thom to create more jobs and bring benefits into province for people’s livelihoods to flourish is underway

For the past two years in this new term, we have set many goals for the irrigation system, continuing from the previous term and preparing new ones[…] His Excellency the Provincial Governor, (Deputy Prime Minister and Minister in Charge of the Office of Council of Ministers) His Excellency Vongsey Vissoth, who is an economist, came to see me and talked about the economic master plan (for Kompong Thom). Economists look at a piece of land, not at how much it can be sold for. They look at how much it can be transformed into a place to create jobs. How much benefit can it bring into the province […] So, (they are looking at) investing to build a road to increase the economy in that place, so that the people’s livelihoods can flourish.

Building canals is investing assets for the common good, so that the people’s economy can grow […] I have given the working groups a step-by-step test to prepare a cashew development strategy by implementing concrete operations, using Kampong Thom as a starting point […] I hope that one day Cambodia will become the king of cashews and Kampong Thom province will be a core producer (leading to better livelihoods for farmers here) […] In addition, His Excellency Nuon Pharath and HE Vongsey Vissoth have put together projects to try and attract foreign investments in aquaculture and other things in (the province) will increase the income of Kampong Thom people even more […]

(10) Provinces to compete creating more beauty and public interest places

I encourage all provinces to compete to create more beauty and public interest places. Now, whoever wants to win the Phnom Penh Walk Street prize, try it […] The airport is not far from Kampong Thom. It’s close to the provincial frontier. Tourists could either get off the plane and go to Siem Reap or get off the plane and come here […] as long as there are tourist products, the city is clean, there are good services, and many activities. There are temples here, like Sambor Prei Kuk, and many other things, and they are connected to the touristic potentials in the province of Preah Vihear […] The other day, with the Malaysian side, the Minister of Tourism sit together and create packages. We are thinking about tourists going there (Malaysia) and coming here (Cambodian) and coming here, and after that, going there.

(11) Economic growth that benefits all sectors and places for people to prosper and have better life

Now that the state has built better roads, and there are water routes. The other day, (Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, His Excellency Say) Sam Al made a suggestion. I agreed. Tourist boats could come from Kampong Chhnang, Kampong Cham, Kratie up here, both Kampong Thom, along the riverbanks and dock at some places. If they are allowed to go further up, as long as there is a place to dock, a place for tourists to have food, and a place to relax […] Our goal is economic growth, creating jobs with equity. Equity means distributing this benefit to everyone and every place, not just Phnom Penh residents, just this group, but all sectors, all places, developing for the people to prosper and have better life […]

(12) So that the people continue to trust and give CPP opportunity to lead and serve the cause of nation and people

Now we are pushing agroindustry and some centers to the west zone, and here in Kompong Thom for cashews. Why did we choose Kampong Thom? It is in the center and near the waterway that will connect with the Funan Canal in the future. It can connect the waterway to Poipet. We are planning to add more canals and railways. This is a big place. It is also near to Kampong Chhnang. People can cross the bridge that we will build and go to Kampong Laeng, and on to national road No. 10 and beyond […] In this regard, we are pushing for equitable, efficient, and sustainable development […]

We meet today to celebrate the construction of a building that is a symbol of the People’s Party’s comprehensive thinking, including design for the common good, the long-term strength of the party, which will take care of and help develop the districts, cities and provinces of Kampong Thom for a long time to come, so that the people will continue to trust the Royal Government, led by the Cambodian People’s Party, thereby continue to give the Cambodian People’s Party the opportunity to lead and serve for decades to come, with the People’s Party’s strong determination to serve the cause of the nation and the people, that no matter what the circumstances, the party will not abandon it […]./.
