Chinese Assistant Minister of Public Security Commends Samdech Borvor Thipadei’s National Governance.

On the morning of February 26, 2025, Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received a courtesy call by His Excellency LIU Zhongyi, Assistant Minister of Public Security of the People’s Republic of China, at the Peace Palace.

During the meeting, His Excellency LIUZhongyi highly valued the fruitful cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the field of security. At the same time, He praised Samdech Thipadei for introducing forward-looking strategies, policies, and new initiatives for the national governance. He expressed confidence that under the wise leadership of Samdech Borvor Thipadei, Cambodia will continue to flourish across all sectors. He also emphasized that the Chinese side is delighted to continue depending cooperation with Cambodia.

In response, Samdech Borvor Thipadei expressed satisfaction with the strong bilateral relations between the two countries and underscored the significant achievements in Cambodia-China cooperation, particularly in the field of security. Samdech Borvor Thipadei reaffirmed the commitment of the Royal Government of Cambodia of the 7th Legislature of the National Assembly to maintaining peace and ensuring security and safety for the people. Samdech Borvor Thipadei also encouraged the relevant ministries and institutions of both countries to collaborate more closely, especially in capacity building and information exchange.
