ICAP Shows Investment Interest in Cambodia
On the afternoon of February 17, 2025, Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, granted a courtesy meeting to Mr. Zhang Chaomin, Chairman and CEO of Infinite Capital Holding Company (ICAP), at the Peace Palace.
During the meeting, the company’s chairman respectfully informed Samdech Borvor Thipadei about the company’s business operations and collaborations with various partners. ICAP focuses on investments in new material production, artificial intelligence (AI), semiconductors, carbon fiber, and other sectors. The chairman also expressed the company’s interest in exploring investment opportunities in Cambodia, particularly in the automotive industry utilizing clean energy (electric vehicles) and the production of electric automotive components. This interest stems from Cambodia’s complete peace and stability, as well as its high economic growth and resilience, maintaining a growth rate of around 6% despite the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and global economic uncertainties.
In response, Samdech Borvor Thipadei expressed his pleasure at the company’s interest in seeking investment opportunities in Cambodia. He highlighted the importance and necessity of encouraging investment companies to explore opportunities in the automotive component manufacturing sector and supply chains to serve domestic, regional, and global markets. Samdech Borvor Thipadei also encouraged the company to continue its detailed studies and maintain close communication and discussions with relevant Cambodian ministries and institutions to gain comprehensive information and understand the government’s policies aimed at supporting and encouraging investors in Cambodia.
