គួររំលេចផងដែរថា សាលាបឋមសិក្សាតេជោមរកត គឺជាទីកន្លែងផ្តល់ការអប់រំដល់កុមារ ប៉ុន្តែកាលពីខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ បានទទួលរងការវាយប្រហារយ៉ាងធ្ងន់ធ្ងរពីសំណាក់យោធាថៃ តាមរយៈការទម្លាក់គ្រាប់បែកពីយន្តហោះចម្បាំង F-16 និងការបាញ់គ្រាប់ផ្លោងប្រភេទ ១៥៥mm មកលើទីតាំងស៊ីវិល ដែលបានបំផ្លិចបំផ្លាញខូចខាតយ៉ាងធ្ងន់ធ្ងរស្ទើរតែទាំងស្រុងនូវអគារ សម្ភារៈ និងហេដ្ឋារចនាសម្ព័ន្ធសាលារៀន ដែលធ្វើឱ្យកុមារតូចៗទាំងអស់នៅទីនោះ នៅតែមិនអាចចូលរៀនវិញបានរហូតមកដល់សព្វថ្ងៃនេះ។

The Spokeswoman of the Ministry of National Defence of the Kingdom of Cambodia, would like to inform the general public as well as members of national and international media outlets as follows:
On Tuesday, 11 August 2026, at 10:20 a.m., the Cambodian Liaison Group (CLG) coordinated a field visit for the ASEAN Observer Team in Cambodia (AOT-KH), led by the Head of Mission (HOM) from the Philippines, to Techo Morakot Primary School, located in Techo Morakot Village, Morakot Commune, Choam Ksan District, Preah Vihear Province, for the purpose of observation, verification, and reporting.
It should also be highlighted that the Techo Morakot Primary School is an educational facility for children. However, in December 2025, severe attacks by the Thai military—carried out via F-16 fighter jet aerial bombardments and 155mm artillery strikes targeting this civilian site—caused near-total destruction and damage to the school buildings, equipment, and infrastructure, leaving all the young children there unable to return to school to this day.
The Royal Government and the Ministry of National Defence of Cambodia reaffirm our firm, sincere, and unwavering commitment to fully and faithfully respect and implement the Joint Statement of the Third Special Meeting of the Cambodia–Thailand General Border Committee (GBC) on December 27, 2025, the Joint Declaration on the Peace Agreement between Cambodia and Thailand on October 26, 2025, and all other relevant agreements. This commitment is made with the aim of ensuring rapid recovery and restoring normalcy, and long-lasting peace and stability.
